Description:
This two channel video installation was exhibited during the annual Open Studios event at the Piet Zwart Institute. It featured a pair of cowboy chaps fitted onto a kinetic metal armiture, an Albino Boa from a reptile rescue center, and footage of animatronic attractions from the Dutch themepark De Efteling. The piece was designed as a type of absurd anti-portrait of disgraced former American Chess Champion Bobby Fischer. The improvised soundtrack was produced by myself and Josie Perry.
